Corbyville, ON —As the Olympics approach, our nation is full of pride for all our athletes who bring their great talents to the world stage. What better time to salute our sport volunteers and thank them for their efforts to support amateur sport in our community and our country.
These individuals were nominated by community members through a public process that closed November 30, 2009. The nominator provided a summary to indicate how the person has demonstrated their commitment and passion to sports and recreation. This award is presented to volunteers not athletes who have made a positive difference in the lives of athletes and to the communities of Prince Edward-Hastings.
